1st workshop of the openRISE project - software architecture
On January 18 and 19, 2024, the first workshop of the openRISE project took place in the tower room of the Ministry of the Interior of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This event marked the beginning of a series of workshops designed to lay the foundation for the technical implementation of the project.
On the first day, the focus was on the current project status and upcoming milestones. Key topics included preliminary considerations for the antenna concept and the analysis of existing systems, such as the RaMoNA system from the LKA Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the LKA Saxony.
The second day was dedicated to the detailed planning of the software architecture. In several sessions, the workflow for installation and updates, the state diagrams for server and client, and the interfaces of the modules were discussed in detail.
Roadmap for Successful Project Design and Implementation
Participants left the event with a clear plan and a shared goal of making significant progress in the coming months. Although the openRISE project is still in its early stages, the results of the first workshop are optimistic for the future. The collaboration among the experts demonstrated that the project is built on a solid foundation and is well on its way to creating an innovative solution for internal security.
The presentations from the workshop, as well as the developed software architecture, are available on the GitLab server. Access can be requested if interested.
